On Tuesday night, they recognized the hard work and dedication of small businesses throughout western Massachusetts.
More than 30 small businesses participated, including breweries, bakeries, and restaurants. It was an opportunity for them to showcase their culinary skills and gain more exposure.
“It does take a community and because of the community we’ve been able to gather everyone together and we’re looking to just get the word out there, shop small, shop our small businesses, support them because they are our lifeline,” said Executive Director of the East of the River Five Town Chamber of Commerce, Grace Barone.
The highlight of the evening was a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which expressed their gratitude to the small businesses that have tirelessly provided the community with culinary delights, confections, and entertainment.
Proceeds from this event will help promote economic growth. Rachel’s Table will also ensure no food goes to waste, by working with restaurants to collect and distribute any leftovers.
