Three new Tecumseh High School employees placed on leave amid football investigation
Three new Tecumseh High School employees have been placed on administrative leave as part of an investigation of football coach Randon Lowe , the school announced Wednesday. Principal Jaime Griggs, athletic director Casi Bays and counselor Erin Meyers are being investigated. This comes after the school announced Lowe was suspended indefinitely on Sept. 29 in the midst of a joint investigation by the Tecumseh Police Department and Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. “Administrative leave is not disciplinary,” the school said in a statement. "It allows the investigation to be carried out with fidelity and protects the integrity of the process for everyone involved. Tecumseh Public Schools is cooperating fully with the investigating agencies and will continue to do so throughout the investigation.” The school has chosen interim replacements. Rodney Buss and Tarek Aissaoui will share leadership roles, while Justin Wood will serve as athletic director and Brittney Honsinger will assist in counseling. Assistant football coach and assistant athletic director Mike Montano was chosen as Tecumseh's interim head coach last month. Nick Sardis covers high school sports for The Oklahoman.
