Wayne Murnan 87 of Bartlesville, OK passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Wayne was born on August 9, 1936 to Alvia L. And Louise (Marler) Murnan. Wayne grew up in Nowata , OK received his education from Delaware, OK and attended OSU Technical School in Okmulgee, OK. Wayne is a US Air Force Veteran after serving three years in the military. As a young boy his job was driving the rake for his Dad in the hay fields. Wayne’s childhood included going to all the county fairs in Oklahoma showing their dairy cows and pigs. He was an Electrician Maintenance Technician for the Cities of Claremore and Hominy, OK. He worked for Texaco (Hominy, OK) and Mobil Oil (in Libya and Saudi Arabia). He was an Independent Oil Producer in Osage County on his return from overseas. He married LuAnn West in Tulsa OK on March 12, 1988. Wayne’s hobbies were hunting and training his bird dogs and going to the “Office”. He was the best Dad, Husband, Big Da (Grandfather), and loyal friend to many. Wayne is survived by his wife, LuAnn, a son Todd Murnan and wife, Lisa of Pine, Co; a daughter, LaLaina Murnan Coppinger of Bartlesville, OK; son-in-Law John Lopez of Cypress, TX. Grandchildren: Stormi Swim and Chad of Cypress, TX; Autumn Broesel and Matt of Edmond, OK and Somer Trease and Mason of Dewey, OK; Conner and Grier of Pine, CO; Lexie, Caleb, and Blake of Bartlesville, OK; Great-Grandchildren: Sydney, Mason, Mackenzie and Kirsten of Cypress, TX; Conner and Cora of Edmond, OK;
2 women flee from Kansas police in stolen box truck

It began when the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a Penske box truck being stolen from a convenience store at 10th Street and Main Street in Independence.
