HALEYVILLE — The Hamilton Aggies lost two games against the Haleyville Lions last week on Friday, April 19. The Aggies lost the first game 4-0. Houston Tibbs pitched for about four innings during the game. He threw two strikeouts while allowing four hits off of four runs. Sam Ballard pitched for one inning.
Hackleburg shuts out Talladega
HACKLEBURG — Hackleburg High School shut out Talladega Central in a double header Friday, April 19, in the first round of playoffs. In the first game, Hackleburg won 10-0, Blaise Vickery struck out 12 batters and only allowed 2 hits in the win. JonHasten Stidham had 2 runs and 2 RBIs, Ross Hudson had 2 runs and Carson Swinney, JaQuan Reeder, Aydan Beard, Kross Weeks and Seth Ables had 1 run each. Beard also had an RBI.
