    Hadley police lieutenant awarded new roof in first responders contest

    HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – A new roof will be installed on the home of a Hadley Police Lieutenant, the grand prize winner in the giveaway for first responders from Adam Quenneville.

    The AQ Cares Roof Giveaway was open to first responders in western and central Massachusetts and northern Connecticut. The entry deadline was January 31st for a chance to win a GAF® Roofing System with GAF’s Lifetime Warranty, a free Roof Maxx® treatment to rejuvenate an older roof, and a free Roof Shampoo® to clean a dirty roof.

    Hadley Police Lieutenant Jesse Green was picked out of nearly 300 entries. His roof is expected to be installed near the end of this month. Lt. Green ran in the Boston Marathon on April 15th, he raised over $14,000 in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), a volunteer organization that invests in new research, creates educational programs, advocates for public policy, and supports survivors of suicide loss.

    Westfield Police Officer Ryan Wilson won the Roof Maxx prize and Advein Kiaresh, a public safety officer at Bay Path University and a First Responder at STCC will receive a free roof shampoo.

    Adam Quenneville Roofing & Siding has hosted this contest for three years to show his appreciation for first responders. John Wessig a federal police officer for Veterans Affairs of western Mass, won a free roof in 2023.
