The Game Changers Beautification Team and Union Congregational Church are partnering for the third annual city-wide spring clean-up May 17 and 18 in Hackensack.

If you have outside yard projects such as leaf raking, bush trimming, debris pick up or appliances to haul away and you live within the city limits of Hackensack, send in the Neighbor Helping Neighbor Clean-up form that you received in the mail. Clean-up forms are also available at Hackensack City Hall, 208 First Street N. All projects are voluntary and completed at no cost to you.

The Neighbor Helping Neighbor Community Clean-up is supported by volunteers from service clubs, businesses, faith-based members, school supporters and community members. Project hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each day begins at the Hackensack HUB, 213 First Street S.

If you would like to volunteer to help with the clean-up, sign up at Hackensack City Hall or at the Chamber building. Volunteers should bring a rake and gloves. Lunch for volunteers will be provided both days. Projects will be completed rain or shine.

On Saturday, May 18 at 3 p.m. there will be a celebration with music at the city park. All are welcome.
