WORTH Twp., Pa. (WKBN)- Pennsylvania State Police responded to a fatal crash in Mercer County Wednesday afternoon where a passenger in a vehicle died at the scene.

Troopers said that Jason Lewis, 44, of Grove City, died in the crash.

PSP responded to the intersection of Millbrook Road and Sandy Lake Grove City Road around 2:30 p.m.

Reports said a 71-year-old driver did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection and collided with the other vehicle. PSP said this caused the struck vehicle to flip, and Lewis was thrown from the car.

The driver who troopers said ran the stop sign was taken to Grove City Hospital for suspected minor injuries. Troopers said the driver of the vehicle that was hit was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center, but her injuries are unknown.

PSP said charges have not been filed at this time, and the crash is still under investigation.
