The vehicles hit by gunfire were part of a convoy to an out of city location for the Harper Woods High School prom, according to police. (CBS DETROIT) - A 40-year-old Grosse Pointe man is facing several drug-related charges after Warren police say they found more than one kilogram of fentanyl and other narcotics inside his vehicle. According to officials, Warren police conducted a traffic stop of Cymone Dorsey in the area of 8 Mile and Hoover on the afternoon of May 23. Dorsey was arrested for having an invalid driver's license and outstanding warrants. While officers searched Dorsey's vehicle, they found a tote bag that had several bags of suspected narcotics. Police: Michigan woman wanted to blame synagogue vandalism on Azov Regiment
DETROIT (AP) — Police in Michigan say a woman vandalized two Detroit-area religious centers in hopes people would blame a Ukrainian militia. The 35-year-old Clinton Township woman has been charged with spray-painting a Nazi symbol and the phrase “Azov” on a Royal Oak synagogue on April 28. She’s also been charged in a March 15 arson at a Scientology center in Farmington Hills, the Detroit Free Press reported.
