GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Master Gardener Volunteers at the Pitt County Arboretum in Greenville are getting ready for their 2024 spring plant sale.

The event is on Saturday May 18. The plant sale opens at 9 a.m. for Friends of the Arboretum and at 10 for the general public, wrapping up around noon.

Many plants that will be at the sale come from cuttings or divisions taken from the Arboretum gardens, but individual Master Gardeners also bring plants from their home gardens. It is also a chance for the public to ask questions about gardening as spring has sprung.

The money raised from the sale will benefit the Pitt County Agricultural Center and so much more.

The plant sale will take place at the Arboretum Gardens, at 403 Government Circle in Greenville.
