GREENVILLE, Pitt County — A Greenville man was charged with two counts trafficking fentanyl on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023. Charles Ervin Foy, 30, was jailed in the Pitt County Detention Center without bond. Investigators made undercover purchases of fentanyl from Foy on multiple occasions.

On November 25, 2023, Sulphur Springs Offices responded to a theft report at Walmart, where two individuals were alleged to have stolen several items. The suspects, identified as 60-year-old Araceli Caballero of Hollywood, FL, and her daughter, 36-year-old Natasha Fox (Caballero) of Greenville, were reported to have skipped scanning multiple items before attempting to leave the store.

Hunter Wells was sentenced on Tuesday to a minimum of three years in prison after a motor vehicle crash killed a woman in 2019. Claire Curry has more on this.
