Fourth-year East Carolina defensive tackle Xavier McIver has announced he will enter the transfer portal. A three-star recruit as part of the team’s deep 2020 defensive line class, McIver was a key player for the Pirates early in his career along the defensive front, and has appeared in 30 total games, including three starts.

East Carolina redshirt freshman Omari Allen has announced he will be entering his name into the transfer portal. Allen, a native of Henderson, N.C., and a product of Vance County High School, will have three years of eligibility remaining. He spent two years in the Pirates program, but did not see action in a live game.
