    Man shot, killed in Prince George’s County identified

    PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said it’s identified a man who was shot and killed Sunday night in Temple Hills.

    Police said that on May 5 at about 11:20 pm, they responded to the 2600 block of Southern Avenue for the report of a shooting.

    Maryland Transit Authority to host purple line community meeting

    When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who inside a stairwell who had been shot. He died there.

    The victim was identified as 22-year-old Louis Smith Jr. of Greenbelt.
