Fleming Island man faces felony battery, grand theft charges, deputies say
A Fleming Island man was arrested Saturday and faces charges of a felony domestic battery (due to a prior conviction) and grand theft, deputies say. Clay Woodall, 20, of Fleming Island, was previously arrested on March 2, 2022, for striking his girlfriend of two years in the face and arm, deputies said. During this incident, Woodall threw the victim’s phone and attempted to fight a witness who intervened to stop the fight, the arrest report said.

$270 million factories set for construction in Clay County this year
The roofing and insulation company IKO confirmed Thursday its plans to build a $270 million manufacturing campus in Clay County. Construction on the new site is set to begin later this year near Florida Highway 301 and County Road 218, IKO wrote in a press release. Deputies charge Middleburg man with attempted murder in connection to shooting
MIDDLEBURG, Fla. – One person was rushed to the hospital following an early morning shooting outside a home in Middleburg.
