Man cut in half by forklift 'can't speak due to pain' with wife issuing update

A man who was horrifically injured in a forklift mishap is now so racked with pain he's lost the ability to talk, his wife has revealed in a significant update . Loren Schauers, who defied the odds and lived through an appalling accident that saw him lose the lower half of his body when a forklift toppled onto him from 50ft, is now battling to speak.
The accident occurred on September 27, 2019, and since then, Loren, hailing from Great Falls, Montana, USA, along with his partner Sabia Reiche, have been sharing their life's ups and downs on social media platforms. On Sunday, May 5, they posted this lengthy 38-minute vlog on their YouTube channel.
At the beginning of the video, Loren disclosed that he couldn't speak as usual because he's currently wrestling with excruciating pain. He stated: "Welcome back guys to Sabia and Loren. Sabia will be doing most of, if not all of the talking because I am in serious pain as I'm going through another bout of C. diff - so let's listen to what Sabia has to say!"
C. diff, the shorthand for clostridium difficile, is a bacterial bug that commonly targets those who've been regularly taking antibiotics, reports the Daily Star . It can trigger a slew of unpleasant reactions including belly pain, fever, and diarrhoea
Sabia then took over to tackle some snide remarks that have been pestering the pair on their online profiles. She remarked: "The uptick in comments stating how tired I look and how I've just aged so much, and how I look so tired and I must be burned out and it's all because I take care of Loren, I must have no time to myself.
"I am a tired person. I came out of the womb tired, and I came out of the womb with depression, anxiety, and insomnia. So mix that together with someone who is just naturally tired and yeah, I'm going to be a little sleepy."
Further, she stated: "I'm not going to sit there and put on a fake face and pretend I'm all happy-go-lucky and wide awake. The whole point of our channel is to be raw and real with you guys. If we're masking how we're feeling that day or masking just anything, then we lose what our channel is all about."
