Swepco says regional floodwaters are complicating restoration
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - SWEPCO reports delayed restoration times due to saturated conditions following several storms in the Arklatex. On June 5, according to SWEPCO additional heavy rainfall and flooding in the Arklatex, power restoration has been delayed. Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) says that due to impactful storms passing through the area overnight are causing challenges to repairs and is increasing outage time.
