Assault and battery charge dropped against Bedford County Public Schools Board member
BEDFORD, Va. (WDBJ) - A Bedford County Public Schools Board member has been cleared of an assault and battery charge. Matthew Holbrook was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault and battery in February 2023. Holbrook said in an interview with WDBJ7 his alleged assault stems from confronting a person about a number of items that were stolen from rental properties owned by his mother.
