District Attorney John T. Savrnoch's office announced this morning Real Estate Broker Adam Michael Pirozzi, 42, of Santa Barbara County has been sentenced to five years of probation and 30 days in jail for embezzlement. He will also have to pay a $1,065,000 fine, on top of a court-ordered $1,275,388.73 in victim restitution. Elderly woman falls 80 feet over Central Coast cliff
A few days after a fatal fall in Isla Vista, an elderly woman fell 80 feet over a cliff in the Goleta area on Tuesday, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department. Shortly bfore 1 p.m., the woman fell from the More Mesa bluff west of Austin Road and landed on the beach below. A bystander called 911 to report the fall.
