City of Hastings working to make sure drinking water is safe
HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - The City of Hastings is working to make sure the drinking water they send their residents is safe. After the City closed down one of their wells due to high nitrate contamination, they are trying to keep a closer eye on those levels. One way their doing that is with real time nitrate testing kits. The tools are small and can be transported from well to well to keep tabs to make sure nitrate levels are in a safe range.
