On March 18, the  Glendale Police department announced it has arrested seven suspects  for forcing entry into and burglarizing a delivery truck in the loading dock area of Tanger Outlets.

Those suspects are:  Jose Antonio Barcia Posligua, 30; Alex Gustavo Sabando Cedeno, 32; Andres Sedeno, 35; Ricardo Noel Moya Barbosa, 37; Xavier Juan Vera Chung, 40; Jeson Nelon Presilla Flores, 41; and Hector Flores Berrios, 46.

On Thursday, March 14, the Glendale Police Department received reports of multiple suspects forcing entry into an UPS delivery truck parked in the loading dock at the Tanger Outlet mall.  The suspects forced entry using burglary tools and began stealing several boxes of new merchandise from multiple stores.

The suspects loaded the stolen merchandise into a white cargo van and left the area.  A witness managed to capture part of this incident on video.

Police used traffic cameras and viewed the white van, which was without a license plate, traveling west on Glendale Ave. from 95 th Avenue. and enter the Loop 101 freeway to travel south.  Detectives located the white van, and at one point, the van exited the freeway for a short period and re-entered the freeway now with a California license plate.

Detectives continued surveillance as the white van conducted evasive turns and maneuvers, both on and off the freeway.  This driving behavior continued until detectives observed the van stop at 79 th Avenue and the I-10 freeway, at which point, all occupants of the vehicle began jumping out of the van and running away toward west McDowell Road.

Multiple other units arrived and a total of seven suspects were apprehended in the surrounding area.  The white van was processed for evidence and 28 packages containing store merchandise were recovered.

Additionally, high-end burglary tools such as grinders, bolt cutters, extended crow bars and floor jacks were found.

All seven suspects were arrested and transported to the Glendale City Jail for questioning and processing.  Six of the seven suspects who spoke to detectives admitted to unloading the packages from the delivery truck and putting them into their van, as well as fleeing from police on foot until they were taken into custody.

All suspects were charged with burglary and possession of burglary tools. All seven men are being held on a $50,000 secure bond.
