Board votes to increase member pay
Madison County Board members will get a pay increase after the next election this fall. The county board voted this week to approve increasing annual pay approximately $2,000, to $16,500. The vote was 15-10 in favor of the hike. It’s the first time in 12 years county board members have seen a pay raise.
