St. Louis CITY SC Makes MLS History with Victory Over Vancouver Whitecaps
St. Louis CITY SC defeated Vancouver Whitecaps FC 3-1 in an MLS match, moving up to second place in the Western Conference standings with 25 points, tied with LAFC. The match saw midfielder Eduard Löwen score in the 10th minute from a free kick, while an own goal from Tristan Blackmon doubled CITY SC's lead in the 45th minute. Vancouver's Brian White scored a late goal, but CITY SC's Homegrown midfielder Miguel Perez secured the win in stoppage time, scoring his first career MLS goal and becoming the first Homegrown player to score in club history.
