Tentative agreement between city of La Crosse and Copper Rocks developer is put on hold
A development agreement to replace the old K-Mart on State Road with a complex called Copper Rocks apparently will be delayed for another month. The city’s economic and community development commission was scheduled to meet Wednesday, to consider a tentative agreement with Three Sixty Real Estate on building housing and businesses on the K-Mart site. However, city clerk Nikki Elsen tells WIZM News that Wednesday’s meeting has been called off, and the agreement plan will be discussed again in September.
