East Texas and Louisiana Brace for Flood Watch Until 6 PM Friday
Shreveport, LA – A flood watch is in effect until 6 PM Friday for parts of northwest Louisiana and eastern Texas due to ongoing heavy rainfall. Areas affected include Angelina, Cherokee, Nacogdoches, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby counties in Texas, and portions of northwest Louisiana including Sabine and Natchitoches parishes.

Downtown Nacogdoches street closure to begin Monday for building remodel
NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - A building remodel will result in a downtown Nacogdoches street being closed starting Monday. According to a release from the city, the 300 block of Pilar Street from Fredonia Street to mid-block will be closed. This is to facilitate the renovation of the old Regions Bank building at 300 East Main Street, they said.
