At the county library in Conway there is a plaque listing the names of Horry’s servicemen lost in World War II. Two brothers are on that wall, and they died together. James and Edward were twin sons of Horry’s beloved Dr. “Jamie” Norton and the youngest of his children. Born in summer 1920, they were nicknamed Wack and Hogie.
