On this episode of Our American Stories, sisters Betsy and Elaine Brumley tell the story of their father, Bob, and the family legacy he carried forward from his father, gospel songwriter Albert E. Brumley, who wrote classics like “I’ll Fly Away” and “Turn Your Radio On.” From a music publishing base in Powell, Missouri, Bob kept the Brumley catalog alive through decades of change, from songbooks and live singings to film, television, and streaming. Syrups, Sips, and Surprises
Founded in 2017, 7 Brew Drive-thru Coffee was created by Oregonian Ron Crume, with the first location (called a stand) opening in Rogers, Arkansas. Since then, the company has expanded to over 600 locations spanning nationwide. While the menu originally featured seven original drinks (including the Blondie, Sweet and Salty, Cinnamon Roll, Brunette, German Chocolate, Smooth 7, and White Chocolate Mocha), their menu now encompasses thousands of drink combinations. They are available in the form of a variety of drinks, including energy drinks, coffee, sodas, matchas, lemonades, and more. However, within the various drink combinations, they still offer classics — drinks you can get from any typical coffee shop (such as teas and lattes).
