    Fyffe man arrested on theft, burglary charges

    DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The DeKalb County Criminal Investigation Division and DeKalb County Drug Task Force arrested a man on Wednesday, wanted for stealing a vehicle.

    DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden said that the units worked together to arrest 41-year-old Nathan Lee Koger.

    Contractor injured after falling over 15 feet into hole under house

    Welden states that Koger has a lengthy criminal record and was wanted on warrants stemming from auto theft from a home in the Blake community. He was out on bond for felony charges in multiple other cases before this arrest.

    Koger was initially arrested on warrants for first-degree theft of property and third-degree burglary. He was also arrested for resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of burglary tools.
