Mack Leopard bagged his second victory of the season Sunday during a busy yet fruitful weekend of racing in the Midwest. Leopard started the weekend on Friday at Miami County Raceway in Peru, Indiana. Piloting the 87 CB Industries entry in the Outlaw Non-Wing Micro division, Leopard went from eighth to first in his heat race before finishing second in the feature after starting from the pole.

Warsaw extended its winning streak to eight on Saturday with an offensive burst, defeating Rochester 18-8 in six innings. The Tigers are now 14-5 this spring. A day after giving his team a walk-off win, Cohen Heady continued to see it well at the plate, going 3-4 with two doubles and four runs driven in. Grady Nelson had three RBIs and a double of his own. Hunter Dippon and Kellan Bailey each drove in two runs, with Bailey going 3-4. Oliver Nisen struck out four and gave up no runs over three innings of work.

Monterey adds around-the-clock cameras to combat crime
MONTEREY, Ind. -- The Town of Monterey is responding to an increase in crime by installing 24/7 security cameras at strategic locations throughout the town.
