DRY CREEK, La. (KPLC) - Former state representative and senator James David Cain died Wednesday at his home in Dry Creek. A native of Southwest Louisiana, Cain served in the Louisiana House of Representatives from 1972 to 1992 and the State Senate from 1992 to 2008. His son, James David Cain Jr., is the federal judge for the Western District of Louisiana.
