WalkMS Fremont set for May 11

FREMONT - The Fourth Annual WalkMS Fremont will be 9 a.m. May 11 at Conner Park. The walk is part of a national fundraising movement with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Advocates and supporters will wear orange and walk to raise awareness for the disease and the need for research. The event will feature face painting by Fremont Community Theatre, No Judgement Zone DJ service, Pub 400 Food Truck, vendors and activities.

Door prizes will include many items such as four tickets to Cedar Point, four tickets to Toledo Mudhens, four tickets in a suite with food and beverages at the Cincinatti Reds, four tickets to Detroit Tigers, three sets of tickets to the Fremont Community Theatre and a family of four pass to White Star Park for 2024.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. May 11 at the park, located at 2300 Morrison Road. The walk begins near the rear shelter house. For more information email Dana Roca at danaroca8@gmail.com .
