3 arrested after ATM theft from Maine ice cream shop
WAYNE (WGME) -- Three people are facing charges after an ATM was stolen from a Maine ice cream shop in Kennebec County. Maine State Police say the ATM was stolen from Tubby's Own Ice Cream in Wayne early Thursday morning. Two people reportedly pried open the shop door and took the cash machine, according to the Kennebec Journal.

SKOWHEGAN -- Michael Kilgore, who injured a police officer in an attempted traffic stop in 2022, was sentenced in Somerset County Superior Court on Friday. Kilgore ran over Officer Chelsea Merry's foot while she was attempting to issue him a ticket, causing her significant injury. According to Officer Merry's lawyer, she has since been diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder and no longer serves as a law enforcement officer.
