What Were Those Strange, Eerie Light Columns Over Bangor Tuesday?
Drivers pulled off the road to get a video of an eerie set of "light pillars" over Bangor on Tuesday night. I can understand why people would have stopped to get a better look at the lights that seem to come out of nowhere. But a bunch of uniform lights like those seen over outer Hammond Street would startle me, much like the first time I saw Starlink and wondered why I was looking at a line of lights in space moving as if they were attached (which they are.)

4 New England States Made the Top 10 in the US For Christmas Decorating

All that stuff. It would seem many other Mainers love it to, because we do it at a rate that makes many other states look silly.
Sangerville, Maine Is Home To The Ultimate Doomsday Prepper’s Dream
Whenever I watch Survivorman, I feel pretty smug. Whenever I watch any of those reality survival shows, I feel like somehow I'm a step above most people. As though somehow I'm just taking in all this information and if anything bad ever happened, I'd totally be ok because I could live off the land the way I learned from Les Stroud.
