Offering a back-to-school helping hand, "School Rocks Backpack Giveaway" happening Sunday
NORTHEAST INDIANA (WFFT) — Grab a backpack and get back-to-school with Round Room, LLC, a Verizon Authorized Retailer. Local kids go back to school with a new backpack
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- Back-to-school season is here. That’s why 1200 local area kids got a backpack filled with school supplies to start the year on the right foot. The local nonprofit Blessings in a Backpack spent the summer raising money and securing items to distribute backpacks in time for the school year.
Blessings in a Backpack ‘Summer Feeding Program’ to end ahead of 2024-25 school year
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - With the 2024-25 school year near, Blessings in a Backpack will be holding its last ‘Summer Feeding Program’ of the year Friday. Blessings in a Backpack’s ‘Summer Feeding Program’ is a partnership with the Allen County Public Library (ACPL) to distribute non-perishable food items to children in the community during the summer season.

Ivy Tech FW/Warsaw named a 2024 Metallica Scholars College

Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne and Warsaw is one of 18 community colleges nationwide joining the Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI) this year.
