3 injured after van crashes into Altamonte Springs business
ORLANDO, Fla. - Three people were treated for minor injuries after a van slammed into an Altamonte Springs business on Tuesday evening. Emergency responders from Seminole County Fire Rescue were called to 650 Douglas Ave., which houses the health and beauty shop Jeunesse. Around 6:30 p.m., they discovered that the van had crashed through the east exterior wall of the building. Three people were transported to a hospital with minor injuries, and the building sustained moderate damage.

Tampa man convicted in drug trafficking scheme that helped move fentanyl, meth from Mexico to Florida
TAMPA, Fla. - Federal prosecutors said a Tampa man was part of a drug trafficking network, moving methamphetamine and fentanyl from Mexico to Tampa and Orlando. A U.S. District Judge found Enock Edouard guilty of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute and criminal contempt after a bench trial. Evidence presented in court shows how the network operated between 2021-2023, moving drugs from Mexico to California in car tires and then transporting the drugs to Orlando and Tampa.
Storm sends tree toppling onto Titusville home, firefighters say
TITUSVILLE, Fla. - A tree fell on a house in Titusville as thunderstorms roared through the region on Tuesday afternoon, firefighters said. The call came in just after 1 p.m., and people were "screaming for help in the background" of the call, the Titusville Fire Department said.
