Softball Game Recap: Greensburg Find Success
While Greensburg put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Rushville. The Greensburg Pirates came out on top against the Rushville Lions by a score of 4-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). That result was just more of the same for these two, as Greensburg also won the last time the pair played back in April.

Greensburg is 2-8 against Connersville since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Greensburg Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Connersville Spartans at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Softball Game Preview: Edinburgh Leaves Home
Edinburgh is 0-3 against Center Grove since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Edinburgh Lancers will head out on the road to take on the Center Grove Trojans at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Edinburgh comes in on three and Center Grove on four.

James Oliver turned in nothing short of a gem on Thursday: he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with more than five innings. For the season, Oliver has an ERA of 8.71 over 31.3 innings pitched.

FRANKLIN – Bedford North Lawrence finished 12th in the Franklin Invitational during boys high school golf action at The Legends on Saturday. The Stars posted a team total of 355. No.7 Center Grove won the title with 309, followed by No.6 Westfield (320) and No.20 Carmel (326) in the 17-team field.
