    A look at the recruiting history of Findlay junior quarterback Ryan Montgomery, who committed to Georgia on Wednesday.

    June 7, 2021: After taking part in a camp and working directly with head coach Jim Harbaugh, Michigan gives Montgomery his first scholarship offer. Montgomery was still more than two months away from suiting up for his first high school football game.

    June 11, 2021: Montgomery goes on his first unofficial visit to Tennessee.

    June 26, 2021: Offers in hand from Tennessee, Georgia Tech, and the University of Toledo.

    Sept. 4, 2021: Made his varsity debut against Bowling Green, completing 16 of 18 passes for 220 yards and four touchdowns in a 49-0 victory.

    Oct. 8, 2021: Completed 24 of 32 passes for 382 yards and three touchdowns  in a 51-25 victory at Clay.

    Oct. 30, 2021: Received offer from Ohio State.

    Nov. 19, 2021: Offers in hand from Penn State and Notre Dame.

    April 9, 2022: Participated in Elite 11 regional event in Massillon, Ohio.

    July 30, 2022: Offers in hand from Georgia, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, and Wisconsin.

    Sept. 15, 2022: Rivals comes out with its first Class of 2025 rankings, grading Montgomery as a four-star prospect. He’s listed at No. 90 overall for his class,  the No. 6 quarterback and the No. 2 recruit in Ohio.

    April 19, 2023: 247sports ranks Montgomery as a four-star prospect, listing him 14th at his position, No. 6 in Ohio, and No. 184 overall. Offers in hand from North Carolina, Miami (Fla.), Cincinnati, Kentucky, Colorado, and Texas A&M.

    June 27, 2023: Class of 2025 quarterback Tavien St. Clair from Bellefontaine, Ohio, commits to Ohio State.

    Aug. 15, 2023: Montgomery cuts his interest list to five programs: Georgia, Florida, Michigan, South Carolina, and Penn State.

    Sept. 1, 2023: Montgomery completed 32 of 37 passes for a school-record 491 yards and six touchdowns as he led the Trojans to a 49-14 victory at Southview. Montgomery broke the school record held by former NFL star Ben Roethlisberger.

    Nov. 23, 2023: Named All-Blade Player of the Year.

    Jan. 20: Attends South Carolina Junior Day.

    Jan. 22: Took unofficial visit to Georgia.

    Feb. 3: Attends Florida Junior Day.

    March 16: Took visit to Georgia.

    April 6: Took visit to Florida.

    April 15: Montgomery announces a decision date and his final three schools: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina.

    April 17: Montgomery announced his decision commit to Georgia.
