Voter education event for those with disabilities
The Bucks County Center for Independent Living and the League of Women Voters of Bucks County are partnering for a voter education event on Thursday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Bucks County Community College’s Epstein Campus, 1304 Veterans Highway, Bristol, to offer students and young adults with disabilities the opportunity to experience the voting process and learn about their rights as a voter.

Bensalem Police are investigating a retail theft at Kohl’s, 2325 Street Road, on June 21. It was reported at approximately 6 p.m. that two unknown Hispanic males entered the store and each selected a Tote cooler bag from the business. Both men began concealing shirts and socks, valued over $1,000, inside the coolers. They fled the area in a black SUV without paying for the merchandise.

Kin, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit all-inclusive wellness and support center that provides free services to cancer patients, caregivers and local oncology healthcare workers across Bucks County, is the recipient of a challenge bestowed upon the Bucks County community by the Gene and Marlene Epstein Humanitarian Fund.
