    Farmington police arrest woman after seizing drugs, gun, money

    FARMINGTON, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Farmington police arrest a woman on April 20 as part of a bust involving multiple drugs, a gun and thousands of dollars.

    According to a Facebook post from the Farmington Police Department , Crystal Shoffit, 45, was arrested for possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, two counts of possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearm, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, possession of a firearm by certain persons and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Police say they seized more than 2.5 pounds of marijuana, almost an ounce of psilocybin mushrooms, numerous drug paraphernalia and means to weigh, separate, or package controlled substances.

    Police say they seized a handgun and more than $7,000 related to profits from illegal drugs sold.

    Shoffit was taken to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

    The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says her bond is still pending. Her first court hearing is scheduled for May 1.
