    Fargo PD unable to save three-month old infant

    FARGO, ND ( KXNET ) — On May 7, life-saving efforts proved unsuccessful when the Fargo Police Department (FPD) responded to a medical emergency regarding an infant.

    At approximately 5 a.m., The FPD responded to a medical emergency on the 3300 block of 17th Avenue South.

    When officers arrived, they found a three-month-old infant that was not breathing and not responsive.

    Life-saving efforts were administered on scene but were unsuccessful and the child was pronounced deceased.

    Initial investigations have found no immediate signs of suspicious activity or foul play.

    The FPD is collaborating with medical authorities to conduct a thorough examination, including an autopsy, to determine the cause of death.
