Students claim assaults, antisemitism present on University of Denver campus
It has been nearly a week since University of Denver officials said they were calling on the pro-Palestinian student encampment to disband, and some students say they feel things outside the encampment have gotten worse.
We met six Denver Online School students at their IRL graduation
As COVID-19 struck, kids through the Denver Public School system went online. Most returned to in-person classes. But hundreds stayed virtual. For them, in-person learning involved too much stress, violence and squandered time. Many went to the Denver Online School, a public middle and high school with the slogan “DO MORE.”
DU’s community voices concerns for custodians
On April 22, the university announced that it would subcontract the entirety of its custodial division to work for Sodexo on June 30. The university’s 120+ custodial workers, many of whom have worked at the university for decades, will be let go on June 30. If they choose, they may go through a process and accept a position with Sodexo.
