Track and field athletes will compete at the Oregon Relays Friday and Saturday at Hayward Field.

Here is a roundup of the top Eugene-area athletes to watch.

Owen Phillips, Sheldon

Sheldon senior Owen Phillips is the favorite to win the boys long jump with the highest seed mark of 23-03.50. He will also compete in the 100 meters with a seed time of 10.93.

Start of long jump: 1:45 p.m. Friday

Malachi Schoenherr, Sheldon

Sheldon sophomore Malachi Schoenherr has the second-fastest seed time in the boys 2-mile run with a time of 8:17.20. He will also compete in the 1 mile run with a seed time of 4:18.45.

Start of 2 mile: 11:29 a.m. Friday

Ashenafi McKinnis, North Eugene

North Eugene's Ashenafi McKinnis has the second-fastest seed time in the boys freshmen 2-mile run with a time of 9:01.57.

Start time: 5:35 p.m. Friday

South Eugene (relay)

South Eugene has the third-fastest seed time in the boys 1,600 spring medley with a time of 3:30.00.

Start time: 6:40 p.m. Friday

Addison Kleinke, Churchill

Churchill sophomore Addison Kleinke is the second-highest seed in the girls pole vault with a mark of 13-07.50.

Start time: 10:30 a.m. Saturday

Eli Forsha, Sheldon

Sheldon junior Eli Forsha is the second-highest seed in the boys triple jump with a mark of 46-11.75.

Start time: 2:15 p.m. Saturday

Owen Fuller, Springfield

Springfield senior Owen Fuller has the third-fastest seed time in the boys 1,000 with a time of 2:33.00.

Start time: 8:05 p.m. Saturday

Marist (relay)

Marist has the third-fastest seed time in the girls distance medley relay with a time of 11:43.00.

Start time: 8:50 p.m. Friday
