Montgomery County's Southern Correctional Institution Nears ACA Accreditation
The Southern Correctional Institution in Montgomery County, North Carolina, is on track for accreditation. The American Correctional Association (ACA) auditors have recommended it. This is the 29th facility of the N.C. Department of Adult Correction to receive such a recommendation. The institution scored 100% on mandatory standards and 98.6% on non-mandatory ones in the audit.
