DISTRICT 5A-11 Thursday’s championship. Island Coast 8, Fort Myers 7 (9 innings): Austin Schoolcraft came up with the clutch hit twice as Island Coast won the District 5A-11 title. Schoolcraft’s bunt single brought home Jordi Guerrero with the game-winner in the bottom of the ninth for Island Coast (20-9). His RBI single in the bottom of the seventh sent the game into extra innings. Logan Hawkins also had two RBI. Hunter Fretwell worked 3 2/3 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win.
