Estacada Fire Department seeks support volunteers

The Estacada Rural Fire District is recruiting members for its support team.

“Support team members play a critical role in our department by responding to incidents to support firefighter rehab, supporting our firefighters on the training grounds and managing our special events with preparation and take down,” the department said in an announcement.

Support service members attend monthly trainings, receive Length of Service Awards, will be trained in CPR and first aid and much more, according to the announcement.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, a high school graduate or equivalent, be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check and other conditions.
