JE Dunn officially named Construction Manager at-risk for Williston Elementary School
WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - The Williston Basin School Board has approved JE Dunn to be the Construction Manager at-risk for the Williston Elementary School building. A Construction Manager at-risk is required by North Dakota Century Code to handle construction projects for public entities. Their role is to work with the architect and the district to assist facility construction.

Located near the confluence of the Yellowstone and Missouri Rivers, Williston was founded in 1887. Railroad magnate James J. Hill named the town for his friend, Daniel Willis James. Williston is the county seat of Williams County. At the time of Williston’s founding, Dakota Territory was untamed. Far from population centers like Fargo and Bismarck, Williston quickly developed a reputation as a wild and wooly town.
