Park Social bar, restaurant and lounge to open this summer in Neptune City
At the forthcoming Park Social in Neptune City, girls night will take on new meaning. Sabrina Boudreau-Gullace and her husband, Matthew Gullace, are transforming Al Ponte, an Italian restaurant on Route 35 that closed earlier this year, into a social lounge, bar and restaurant geared toward women. The Gullaces, who also own Asbury Ale House in Asbury Park, plan to open Park Social in July.
Jersey Shore town bans burying people in sand, digging big holes
A Monmouth County, New Jersey, beach town has banned the digging of large holes and burying of people in the sand. Sea Girt passed an ordinance in April adopting stricter rules around sandhole digging. Under the new rules, holes cannot be deeper than 12″ or the knees of the shortest participant, whichever is shorter. Holes cannot be left unattended and must be filled before leaving the area.

'All they did was give me free publicity': Who stole 130 Howell mayor candidate's signs?
HOWELL - Over 100 mayoral campaign signs were stolen from around the township and thrown in dumpsters in April, and police need help finding the thief. Around 130 political posters belonging to the "Leggio for Mayor" campaign were stolen from various locations on or about April 23, according to Howell Township Police. The signs were later discarded in dumpsters behind the Ramtown Plaza.

Police say that Luis Valentin Jr., age 27, turned himself in and was arrested for terrorism and causing false public alarm. On Sunday, April 28, authorities say they responded to a bomb threat at the Pitney Bowes Warehouse, located at 117 Interstate Boulevard.
