Man kicks police, resists arrest
Sunbury, Pa. — A Sunbury man was tased after he kicked a police officer while being taken into custody for a domestic incident. Police responded the evening of May 7 to a report of a fight at a home on Masser Street. When officers arrived, they heard screaming coming from the home as Hector Rivera-Vazquez, 39, was attempting to leave. Thief steals traffic counters
East Chillisquaque Township, Pa. — Police say someone stole traffic counters along a state highway in Northumberland County. The theft occurred sometime between May 6-9 along Route 147 southbound, approximately a quarter mile south of Route 254, according to Trp. Brett Harvey of state police at Milton. Turbot Township, Pa. — A traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Northumberland County led police to find more than 380 packages of marijuana, police say. Around 4:30 p.m. April 24, Trp. Howard W. Missing juvenile in Montour County
Cooper Township, Pa. – A juvenile was reported missing this evening in Montour County. Pennsylvania State Police at Milton are attempting to locate 12 year old Aeriana Teresa Pawelczak. She was last seen in the area of 1522 Bloom Road, Cooper Township, Montour County around 5:45 p.m. on May 10. She was last seen wearing black pants and a gray t-shirt and is described to be 5' 01’’, 85 lbs, with hazel eyes and long brown hair. Police: Driver found passed out behind the wheel
Millville, Pa. — A driver was arrested after police say the found him passed out behind the wheel in the middle of the road. State police found Bret Lamoreaux, 32, asleep in his 2022 Subaru Outback after they were called to 94 Camp Victory Road on May 5 for a disabled vehicle, reports say. When Trp. Adam Heintzelman arrived just after 3 a.m., he found Lamoreaux behind the wheel with the vehicle in drive, he said. The car was reportedly in the middle of the roadway and Lamoreaux was drunk. He was arrested for DUI, according to charges.
