New York Islanders prospect Isaiah George is heading to the OHL Finals with the London Knights.

George, the 98th overall pick at the 2022 NHL Draft, has played quite well in these playoffs, with four goals and five assists in 14 games after scoring just six goals and 24 assists in 68 regular-season games.

Two of his four goals have been empty-netters, which may not be a big deal to some, but that means his coach, Dale Hunter, trusts him to be out there in the big moments to lock down the "W."

On March 31, Game 2 of the First Round against the Flint Firebird, George scored to cut London's deficit to 3-2 before his team came back to win 6-4 to take a 2-0 series lead:

After winning Game 3 by a score of 4-3, George recorded two assists in Game 4, both secondary tallies. His first came on the game-opening goal, while his second came in crunch time with Flints' net empty for the series sweep.

In Round 2, Game 1 against the Kitchener Rangers, George scored to tie the game at 2-2 en route to a 5-3 win:

George scored one more time in the series, adding an empty net goal in Game 3 to secure a 6-4 win to take a 3-0 series lead before breaking at the brooms yet against two days later to advance to the Semi-Finals.

With London winning the first two games, George's point shot was deflected by teammate Landon Sims late in the first period of Game 3 to give the Knights a 2-1 lead, but they failed to hold on in a 6-2 loss

George and the Knights took a 3-1 series lead two days later, with Isaiah scoring the second of two empty-net goals for London in a 7-3 win before

After dropping Game 5 by a score of 4-2, the Knights won Game 6 by that score to advance to the OHL Finals to face the Oshawa Generals.

Game 1 will be on Thursday, May 9. Here's the full schedule:

George, who signed his three-year entry-level contract with the Islanders on Sept. 13, 2023, will begin his professional career in 2024-25, likely with the Bridgeport Islanders.
