Johns Hopkins (12-0) will host Randolph-Macon (12-0) at Homewood Field in the quarterfinal round of the 2023 NCAA Division III Playoffs. Both teams have had strong seasons. Johns Hopkins moved to the quarterfinals after a 39-17 win over Union on November 25. Randolph-Macon advanced with a 46-0 home win over Ithaca on the same day. Aa'Reyon Jones scored nine points, shooting 3 for 6 (1 for 4 from 3-point range) and 2 of 3 from the free throw line. Camaren Sparrrow had nine points and finished 4 of 7 from the field. The win broke a seven-game slide for the Eagles.

Avery Brown scored 15 points while shooting 6 of 9 from the field and 2 for 3 from the line, and added six rebounds. Kenny Noland was 5 of 9 shooting (3 for 6 from 3-point range) to finish with 13 points, while adding four steals. It was the sixth straight win for the Lions.
