ID Released For Woman Struck, Killed By SUV In Wallkill
The incident happened around 11 p.m. Friday, May 10, in Orange County on Route 211 near Route 17 in the town of Wallkill. New York State Police say that a preliminary investigation revealed that Connecticut resident Mary C. Shea, age 38, from the town of Naugatuck in New Haven County, was walking on Route 211 when she stepped off the curb and into the right lane of traffic when she was struck by a 2017 Ford Escape that was traveling west.

Car chase that began in Liberty ends in Newburgh
NEWBURGH – What began as a car chase when a vehicle ran over fire hoses in Liberty on Sunday ended in the City of Newburgh with the arrest of two people. Police said the car sped east on Route 17 to Interstate 84 in the Town of Wallkill where the pursuit was terminated.

MAYBROOK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — New York State Police are investigating a fatal industrial accident in Maybrook. Police say Stanley Weglarz (61, Tennessee) died at the scene. On May 9, around 9:15 a.m., State Police responded to 1000 Homestead Avenue in Maybrook for reports of a fatal industrial accident. Police say Weglarz was stuck by a Freightliner cab while trying to hook up to an empty trailer and was pronounced dead.
