Tornado Watch issued for parts of Central Illinois through 10 pm
Peoria, Ill (WMBD) — The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for parts of Central Illinois through 10 pm Tuesday. Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this evening posing a risk of large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes, mainly north of I-74. Conditions are favorable for a few strong tornadoes along and east of I-39.

According to the National Weather Service, teams are expected to survey damage and finalize reports in the coming days.
